The Final Mystery of Chain Letter

Last time around I established, by thoroughly watching a thoroughly unwatchable film, the identity and motive of the killer in 'Chain Letter'. But in researching that article I came across a mystery that even I couldn't solve. Take a look at this-

That shot appears at the end of the opening credits. A bald man has a chain wrapped around his neck and a gun pushed against head. Who is this man? Why is he being murdered? By whom?

It seems like a complete non-sequitor, except for one thing. This man appears in one other scene. In fact, the chronologically first murder scene in the film!

Time for some navel-gazing!

I had but one goal in relation to the popularity of this website – all I wanted is for people to be able to type the name ‘Vardulon’ into the old Google Box in the browsers, and then have the results page NOT ask them if they meant to type ‘pardulon’ instead.

That finally happened this week, the first week that I, while still massively less popular than resin model-making material ‘pardulon’, am nonetheless recognized as a distinct entity from it!

Yay!

What's going on with Knight Rider?

I don't watch the new Knight Rider television show. Maybe I should, given my love of awfulness, but I don't.

This week might well be an exception, though. Out of the corner of my eye I happened to catch a few seconds of an ad. It's possible I was misinterpreting the whole situation, but in that fractional glimpse it looked like Willard was crouched over someone in the high-tech control centre, making a grave pronouncement while a cheerleader looked on from the background.

That's such an odd tableau that I find myself compelled to tune in and find out just what the heck was going on.
