Also pretty sure that the FBI structure and ranking system is pretty easy to look up? I dunno.

Also just a note: it really does seem sometimes like you just want something bad to say about this show. Why have you watched and reviewed every episode if you dislike it so much? But it's not like the father gave her to friends of his. He left her at a church and someone adopted her.
If she ends up with her grandparents, this is also because of the father. If he hadn't raped and killed her mother she wouldn't even exist or live with her grandparents who might just be worse equipped to rais a child at their age than the couple who got approved for adoption.
She can have grandparents that are her grandparents and still live with the only family she has ever known.

The trauma of removing her from her parents (and yes, her adoptive parents are her parents) would be much more traumatic than the realisation that they only have her because of a monster. Yes, being the product of a horrific crime can't be easy, but being ripped out of your family is far worse.

It's not like the girl is a baby who doesn't remember anything.

I really love your intelligent commentary on this show but this time you were just plain wrong. His story is so horrible that I am almost glad you didn't do the fact check on him.

He kept his daughter in a cellar without any natural light for 24 years and had 7 children with her. Some of them got to join his upstairs-family and some of them he kept with their mother in the tiny cellar. His eldest graddaughter didn't see the sun until she was 19. I am not going into more detail here because that is all I remember and I can't bring myself to research this case right now.Hannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11504756398101373995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9114808246459538090.post-64665283276534964732021-05-31T04:25:47.578-04:002021-05-31T04:25:47.578-04:00That's not downtown Phoenix.

Just saying.

Preach on! lol Still enjoying your rationalization of the facts in the episodes.

I know I am a little late to the party, but, hey... I can still play pin the tail on the donkey, right?? :-PKaliekanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9114808246459538090.post-11503359327549079792013-05-05T19:09:16.346-04:002013-05-05T19:09:16.346-04:00Also, why didn't the killers take another girl...Also, why didn't the killers take another girl sooner? I get that maybe they only like to have two girls at any one time, but it'll take ages to get that new girl healthy before they can "use" her -why put yourself in a situation where you've got two heavily pregnant girls and both may "need" to be killed if they produce girls?

On that point, how harsh is that? The first girl produced a healthy boy first, but was still not given a little leeway when her next child was a girl. Why so impatient? Surely it takes longer to get a new girl ready than to keep using the same one, who's proven she can bear sons. Not that I'm a proponent of such archaic beliefs - doesn't the sex of the baby come from the father?

Why did the brunette say that if anything happened to the baby she'd be killed? She then said, in practically the same breath, that she'd had a dead son - and it didn't matter that he was dead, he was still a son, so she was forgiven. So really the danger lies in having a girl - and no matter how carefully you give birth, you can't alter that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9114808246459538090.post-36452227107673370402013-05-05T18:55:36.661-04:002013-05-05T18:55:36.661-04:00It absolutely isn't right to take a child from...It absolutely isn't right to take a child from the only home she's ever known, with loving parents, just because someone else decides they want her. JJ was incorrect to tell the grandparents the law was on their side, and I don't know why she did. The child was legally adopted after being left at a church.

Even if there had been an issue of consent not having been given for the adoption - the mother was already dead, the father had abandoned the child and the grandparents' opinion is not usually sought when an adult chooses to give up their child for adoption.

Do you need reminding that these wonderful grandparents are the same people who raised their daughter to be a drug-addicted runaway?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9114808246459538090.post-53908994306259717292012-08-12T18:53:52.480-04:002012-08-12T18:53:52.480-04:00I wouldn't really call it splitting up the two...I wouldn't really call it splitting up the two siblings since they probably don't even know each other exists. And do you really think its a good idea to yank the girl from the life she's already used to? If it were me, I'd want to stay with the people I've always known, have my questions answered as I ask them, and get to know my "real" family on my own terms.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
